PHN is a telehealth program that can deliver Houston physicians to worksites virtually anywhere via two-way audio/visual equipment with an array of diagnostic services. Phonoscope’s vision for the Phonoscope Health Network is to use technology to help employers and employees obtain affordable access to quality healthcare on a regular basis, while reducing the overall delivery cost of healthcare.

The PHN telehealth program provides the tools, technology, and physician network to make wellness a priority and reduce the cost of healthcare to all participating parties and can reduce the cost of healthcare, workers’ compensation, return-to-work programs for both short-term and long-term disability, and a significant reduction in absenteeism.

The PHN high definition unit is supplied through the Phonoscope’s utility services. The unit is installed and maintained for a low monthly service charge. Phonoscope offers T3 Ethernet transport services, allowing video conferencing and diagnostic data to transfer through fiber optics for unmatchable reliability, latency and speed.
